Help Us Restore a Rare 19th-Century Stone Arch
Tucked deep in the woods, the Hollow Brook Bridge is one of the last hand-laid stone arch bridges in Tewksbury. Built between 1875 and 1900, it’s a quiet monument to how we once built: with local stone, honest craft, and lasting purpose.
But time is catching up.
Voids are opening. Stones are shifting. Without action, this rare piece of history could collapse.
We’re launching a major preservation effort to stabilize and restore the bridge, starting with critical work this fall.
