About the Preserve:

As a result of some 20th century road engineering to avoid a dangerous angle where Vliettown Road meets Black River Road, this small plot of land was created, and eventually given to TLT to steward. In addition to providing a pretty, rural view shed, with splash of native grasses and flowers all summer long, the triangle's half-acre of flat terrain provides a useful parking area for the occasional foot basset activities that take place over neighboring fields.
